He Disobeyed

"Bruce, come on, help me find the darts," Eugene's whispered quietly. He was determined to find the darts Bruce's mother had hidden in the basement of her house.

Bruce thought for a second and then responded, "Yes, it sure could be a lot of fun." After explaining to Bruce how dangerous it was to play with darts, his parents had forbidden him from touching them, but now Bruce who usually was a very obedient child was actively contemplating disobedience.

The boys searched the basement from one end to the other but could not find them. They were ready to give up their search, when Eugene spied them protruding from a little box above the furnace, "Here they are Bruce, we found them! Let's throw them at the target."

"What target?" Bruce whispered.

"Oh, you know the one that is pinned to your Aunt's garage door. Why, if we play with them there, no one will even know that we were playing with darts."
