HOUSE AND HOME THE KITCHEN
The holidays are upon us with all its hustle and bustle and gustatory delights. The following are recipes that you might want to try sometime during the holiday season.
LENTIL POT PIE
1 cup water
2 pkg George Washington Broth
1 onion diced
2 carrots diced
2 stalks celery diced
4 potatoes diced in small pieces
1 Tbsp flour
½ cup tofu
4 cup cooked lentils drained
½ tsp sage
½ tsp parsley
1 tsp salt
9 individual pie crusts
Beat the tofu in a blender until it is liquid.
Mix tofu with all the ingredients listed above and simmer in a heavy skillet for about fifteen minutes.
Pour mixture into individual pie crust shells.
