1 tsp sugar

1 can tomato paste 8 oz

1 can tomatoes 28 oz

salt to taste

Soak kidney beans in 4 cups of water overnight. Throw this water away and rinse beans thoroughly. Place beans in crock pot and add 6 cups of water. Turn crock pot to high and soften beans over the next hour. Add remaining ingredients. Turn crock pot to low and cook over next 6 to 8 hours.
