PRAYER Prayer is sharing our thoughts with God. We pause and spend a brief interlude– we leave with a changed perspective on life, a changed focus on things around us that baffle or cause pain. We share our secrets with our Friend and, He, in turn gives wise counsel.

Prayer is dynamic. Prayer has stopped the mouth of lions, blunted the edge of the sword, made the weak strong, conquered literal kingdoms and also conquered the power of the kingdom of darkness in our lives. Things happen when we pray.

Prayer lifts us outside the vale of our own circumstances and connects us with God. Prayer is not intended to change God’s thoughts toward us for God knows the thoughts he has toward us, thoughts of good and not of evil . Prayer changes us and makes it possible for God to shower us with blessings He had always intended for us.
