Two thousand years ago, humble shepherds, tending their flocks at night, heard the astounding announcement, "For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour, which is Christ, the Lord."
The birth of that tiny baby embodied the hope of the ages and sounded the death knell for the enemy who claimed earth as his fiefdom. And so, at Christmastime, we celebrate His birth in joyful anticipation of His soon return when paradise lost will become paradise restored and sin will be no more.
