EDITORIAL

Why do bad things happen to good people? Why did God create suffering? Why does He allow suffering? The good news is that God did not create suffering. Sin was conceived in the twisted mind of Lucifer, an angel with all the advantages of heaven. Even better news is that while God does allow suffering, as we pass through the land of the enemy, He walks with us and he tempers the pain. And the best news is that Jesus lived as a man among men, died the death that we deserve that through His death He might destroy sin, death and suffering and bequeath to us eternal life free of sorrow and pain. This issue of Very Special Friends discusses the origin of sin and suffering and God’s remedy for the problem.
